Request for proposals - MEXICO

GETF and The Coca-Cola Foundation in Mexico recently launched a call for proposals for water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) projects for several regions in Mexico.

These projects are part of Aliados por el Agua (ALIADOS), the platform GETF established for Coca-Cola Latin-America, to preserve strategic watersheds and increase WASH access for two million people in 18 countries by 2030. In Mexico, ALIADOS has already improved water services for more than 200,000 people.

ALIADOS also looks to promote climate resilience and the women’s empowerment, integrating the Global Water Challenge’s women for water Framework for Action.

GETF seeks to identify one-year projects that can impact between 10,000 and 50,000 people through efficient use of resources, incorporation of other donors, and collaboration with other institutions, including local, state and national governments, as well as with other stakeholders throughout the life of the project and afterward. Selected proposals will begin financing and implementation in 2023.
