Antimicrobial Resistance Access and Stewardship Initiative (AMRASI)

Founded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Emerging Threats Division (ETD) and Center for Innovation and Impact (CII), the Antimicrobial Resistance Access and Stewardship Initiative (AMRASI) aims to galvanize a community of practice that will inform and support the design and implementation of innovative approaches to tackling AMR by improving access to healthcare commodities (diagnostics and antimicrobials) that enable high-quality antibiotic stewardship.

GETF serves as the secretariat of the AMRASI partnership and manages the multi-sector coalition consisting of diagnostics and pharmaceuticals companies, in-country subject matter experts, global health donors, implementing partners, and global AMR groups. In this role, GETF will support USAID alongside the Clinton Health Access Initiative, with achieving the goal of design and execution of a targeted AMR pilot.
