Tom Harvey

Tom Harvey is Chairman and Founder of the Global Environment & Technology Foundation. With his considerable international experience having lived and worked in Africa, Eastern Europe, Russia and China, Tom has a lifelong commitment to help uplift local communities through collaboration, technology and innovation.

Tom spent 20 years in senior positions at the White House, National  Security Council, Department of Defense and Congress. His Congressional experience includes drafting the Nunn/Warner National Security Strategy Report legislation. Key achievements include writing the first National Security Strategy report for President Reagan as a member of the National Security Council and developing the National Space Strategy while working as a member of the National Space Council. He served as Chairman of Roy F. Weston, Inc, one of the leading environmental engineering firms in the country. A graduate of West Point, he also served as a Congressional Fellow and as National Security Advisor to then Congressman Dick Cheney (R-WY) and Senator John Warner (R-VA).

Adept at turning challenges into opportunities, Tom has owned several  successful companies, centered on business development and technology commercialization.
