Alexis Kastanos serves as the Monitoring and Strategic Planning Lead for the Aguas Firmes collective action platform.
With six years of experience in the environment and development sector, Alexis has contributed to initiatives focused on biodiversity, hydrology, community empowerment, and sustainable production. He is responsible for facilitating strategic tools, strengthening program planning, and monitoring high-level indicators that guide decision-making and long-term impact across the platform’s priority watersheds.
Alexis holds a Bachelor’s in History and Political Science from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and a postgraduate degree in Environmental Management from the Open University of the UK.
