Alejandra Tapia
Alejandra Tapia brings 15 years of experience designing and implementing public affairs, sustainability and entrepreneurship initiatives across Latin America and the United States.
She is currently leading nature-based solution projects contracted under the collective action platform Aguas Firmes, a program supported by Coca-Cola Mexico, GIZ and Grupo Modelo.
Previously, Alejandra has partnered with consulting firms, businesses, international organizations and financial institutions – among them New Ventures, FUNDES, BFA Global and the Austin Technology Incubator – to build strategic alliances that deliver cross-sector impact. Her expertise spans climate action, technology for development, financial inclusion, and MSME growth. She has successfully led more than ten projects, conducting in-depth research and assessments, and crafting stakeholder-aligned strategies that drive measurable social and environmental outcomes.
Alejandra holds a Bachelor’s in Sociology from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and a Master’s in Global Policy Studies from The University of Texas at Austin, where she specialized in sustainability and ESG. Her career is driven by a commitment to leverage policy, finance and innovation to foster resilient communities and ecosystems.
