Ornella Guzzo
Ornella Guzzo is a Project Manager, South America for the Aliados por el Agua and Cargill Currents program.
With two decades of corporate experience, Ornella has built a career across multiple business areas, with a strong focus on marketing and sustainability. Over the past ten years, she has dedicated herself to developing sustainability strategies, driving progress toward net zero, advancing circular economy practices and promoting social equity and diversity.
Ornella’s background includes serving as Business Partner for Latin America at Kimberly-Clark and as Sustainability Director at HEINEKEN Brazil. At Kimberly Clark, she aligned regional goals with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), led brand cause initiatives and forged key partnerships with organizations such as UNICEF and Plan International. At HEINEKEN, she established the company’s sustainability function, founded the HEINEKEN Institute and created a Sustainability Business Unit, shifting sustainability from a cost center to a source of revenue and self-sustaining impact.
In 2025, Ornella joined GETF as a consultant, where she manages water access and replenishment projects across South America. She is also the co-founder of a Brazilian biotechnology startup.
Ornella holds a degree in Business Administration, postgraduate degrees in Marketing and in Social and Environmental Business and a Chief Sustainability Officer certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
