INNOVATION MARKETPLACE
The Innovation Marketplace Exhibit Center provides GEF IW projects the opportunity to share your innovations and transfer your best practices across IW partners and regions. The Marketplace is a novel and unique venue for knowledge exchange, where partners showcase replicable achievements, discuss their insights for adapting your innovations to new contexts, and seek and network with innovators from other nations and GEF IW projects. The exhibit area will be located in the foyer immediately outside our conference rooms. This central and highly visible site allows exhibitors to feature their successes throughout the conference, before an active audience of the most influential practitioners in international waters.
AWARDS and RECOGNITION
A jury panel will select the Best Innovation and Best Presentation among Marketplace exhibits. IWC attendees will also vote on a People’s Choice Award. Finalists’ will then be presented their awards and recognized among all participants on the final day of the conference.
The Innovation Marketplace will be comprised of standard exhibits. Specifications for the standard exhibit package are below. If desired, an exhibit booth may be shared between two IW projects.
