In 2018, Global Water Challenge (GWC) and DataRobot embarked on an initiative to develop sustainable water solutions. Working with GWC’s Water Point Data Exchange (WPDx), DataRobot has analyzed more than 500,000 data points to predict waterpoint breaks in Sierra Leone and Liberia. Armed with this information, local governments have been able to proactively identify at-risk waterpoints and better manage water-related budgets and programs for repairs and new construction.

Inspired by the results of our work together, DataRobot has launched AI for Good to enable sustainable, AI-driven solutions for a better world.  Check out the video here to learn more about WPDx and DataRobot.
